, but yup, just like I explained to Ed and how he put it, ground the batteries and hook the positive of batt 2 to the perko on the 2 slot. Second batt will be backup battery in a sense. On the Axis website its Features options and specs area, there is a part called Battery Isolator Switch. When we ordered, we had it put on there too. I would check with the dealer if you dont have an isolator switch to verify if you put it in that it won't void the electronics part of the warranty since youre wiring it and electronics pass through it.. For the dealer to install it, I would be surprised if it took all of 10 minutes and its insurance that your warranty claims (hoping you dont have any) will go through without issues. Let me know if you have any other questions.
