My son John landed his firstinvert Sunday. Just had to share. He is 11 and has been riding about 3 years. As you can tell from the audio it was an exciting day. After a few falls and some great coaching by Glenn Fletcher at Otown watersports, he landed it. Big thanks to Glenn and Jessie at Otown.

congrats on the invert...very exciting times. why did he start with TS frontroll instead of HS backroll?

Thanks. He is not comfortable with anything backwards. We are working on this on the trampoline. He has always been very comfortable with front flips on the trampoline. Hopefully he will become more comfortable and backrolls will be next.

That's awesome. Now he can learn how to spin!

hes got the same problem i do. i feel like i can never get enough rotation going backwards and that i'm going to slam down on my stomach.

Oh ya, and by the way. Gratz on the invert, I wish I could do that...

Wow.... Nice riding, looks like youv been throwing the frontroll for awhile :-) Congrads. Now go for the scarecrow :-) or just frontroll to revert style (not laid out) if he doesn like backward-feeling rotations :-)
