I broke my premier 140 yesterday on a double up..... thank goodness that I hadn't hit any sliders with it yet. It made a funny noise when I landed and I thought that is what people must be talking about when they say they heard it break...... it left a crease all the way across the bottom of the board. Hyperlite says that my dealer will have to send it back to them and they will inspect it and send me a new one. That seems like a long time to wait. Anybody that has had the experience of returning a board for warranty issues I would love to hear about it and what HL did or did not do to make it right. thanks

I'm sure Hyperlite will take care if it. If you have a good board shop and they are confident the board will be warranty, they should give you a new one now. My shop would. My buddy had a defective Belmont, Ski World in Castro Valley handed him a brand new board right there on the spot.

they are a small marina that happens to be a HL dealer...... I don't think that they have one in stock...... I keep my boat there and do a lot of business with them and I am sure they would do it if they had the board in stock. I asked HL about paying the difference for a DNA board and they said that I could do that but they couldn't tell me a price.......

I broke my Premier 135 on a TS Front roll. Never hit a slider with it. I took it back to the board shop that I got it at. They shipped it back to Hyperlite and it took 2 months for me to get a new one back. The board I had was a blem, and they did not have any other blems that were comparable and needed to wait for one. As long as your board is not a blem, it should only take 2 weeks.

forgot to mention that she's going to loan me a premier to ride until HL sends a new one..... that's customer service... especially since I didn't buy the board from her. Thanks again Maeghan!
