We were riding home late yesterday and all of a sudden a strong vibration started under neath the boat. I can't even give it full throtle it vibrates way to much. I had to coast back to the dock at about 4mph for about 30min. It goes in gear foward and reverse. Is the prop or shaft bent or do i have a transmission problem?

Sounds like the prop or shaft. But if you hit something you should have known that. Kinda weird for it to just start out of the blue. Did you feel like you hit something right before it started? One time I snagged a big ball of weeds and sticks that was under the water and it wrapped around the prop and vibrated like crazy. But a little forward and reverse action and it came off. Got any more info? How did the prop and shaft look on the trailer?

I didn't here anything or see anything but my buddy said he heard something but not very loud. The prop seems to have some small dings on the tips. will small dings through it off that much cause i could not get it over 10mph. I'm pulling it today to bring it to someone to look at.

Small dings are visible but I would bet its bent more than you can tell just by looking at it. Take off the prop and take it in. But if you arent too sure take the boat in as well and have the shaft looked at it should only take a few minutes or even spin it your self and check it (best to have the tollerance checked the right way though by a shop or the right tools). Sounds like something is way out of ballance probably just the prop. Get a spare prop too.
