Very nice! Is that different than a whirlydick because it's a ole 720 not a ole 360 + handlepass 360? -Steve P.S. Steve wonders why Ryan Jones speaks of Ryan Jones in 3rd person?

Adam Trotman did a whirly 7, pretty sure it was a double ole. He did it a few yrs ago in the UK of a kicker, the only way i know that is i rode at his school in the Dominican Republic, Cabwake. Ive seen the clip of Parks doing one of a double up, it was huge!

I don't want to burst any bubbles here, but that was just a normal whirly, or a maybe an Ole 7. Not a whirly 7 or "double whirlybird."

Jay (ironj32), yes I am friends with Pete... I'm going to drink some beers with him tonight... Joe (joe 788), Explain to me why you do not think that it is a whrily seven... When you take 180 degrees away from the whirly seven, they call and score it as a whrily five... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiF4mn-BmyE I'm not calling you out.. I am just curious because, if you prove me otherwise I won't call it a whirly seven...

I only see one overhead rotation. Am I going mad? It really looks like a normal whirly... Even slowed it down to be sure...

kyle, on a whirly dick you pass the handle at 5 to 7 hence a whirlybird + mobydick. Parks whirly 7 in shafted is one of the most epic tricks to go down on a board

Ryan, your whirly 5 looks legit. I see a whirly with an extra 180 at the end. If you break it down, it's essentially a laid out, ole, backside 900. A whirly 7 needs a tantrum and two overhead backside 360s. Or on a cable, essentially, a laid out, ole, backside 1080. I'm just not seeing it in your first video. From what I can see, you're either missing a flip, or 360 degrees of rotation. If you watch this guy, you see that he spins one whole rotation more than you. The video is a whirly dick, but he's still doing a tantrum and two backside 360s. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoRxOx8vEnU

Joe, I do whirly dicks also... I will have to get and post a video of it but, when I do a whirly dick it is the same rotation and the whirly 7. I just do the handle pass. I do a whirly five and finish it early then pull for my last 180. I think the confusion is in the video quality. I will get it on better video behind the boat. OWC just moved the kicker my switch side so I can't do it there. WWC has a kicker that I will get video of me doing the whirly 7 this week. I'll do the whirly dick too so we can compare the two.

Ryan, I think you hit the nail right on the head with the video quality. I think the frame rate and the shakiness are disguising one of those extra 360s! After seeing your whirly 5 video, I have no doubt that you know the difference between a regular whirly and a whirly 7.
