Right Board?

Now that winters wrappin up and its time to start de-winterize the jetskis I am ready to spend some cash and buy a new wakeboard ... I currently have a Hyperlite Scape 116 wakeskate and can pull shove its and stuff .... basically I'm very comfortable on the water ... I am lookin for a light board with great pop of smaller wakes ... if you could recomend bindings with good support ... I would like to spend around $400 or so ... any responses or anyone near me that wants to pull sometime lemme know ..

For a light board I'd recommend Liquid Force, depending on your preferences for a fast/slow and loose/tight board I'd have different suggestions. Ultimately though try and demo some different boards to get the best feeling for what you like.

As far as great pop off a smaller wake, with good fundamentals you should be able to get decent pop and height with any board, it's just a matter of finding a board that works for you.

Check out ebay, I saw 2005 obrien boards and bindings going for $169 each.

Depending how big you are, you can pick up older CWB Absolute Platinum 134's for around $300 or less. They are pretty light, but they are rated up to 170 Lb riders.
