LF FAST system on Hyperlite deck

i just put my new sphynx bindings on the TFD. I'm worried about stripping the threads on it. I don't think it will screw in far enough to lock down without stripping it eventually... Can I order longer locking clamps from LF? or do i have to use longer hyperlite screws...

If they are th quick type,Just fold them down and give them a couple more turns.

Thats the thing.. when they're folded down, I can loosen them like 1 rotation and they come out. I just dont think it has enough threads to hold it when they're folded down.

Are yours like this?

My buddy's are like that and all he does is give them a couple turns and fold it down and then turn them some more until tight.Hope that makes sense.

Nacho, I had a pair of 04' Transits on the Parks board and it was fine. The thing to do is to remove some of the plastic washers that come with the locking clamps(maybe 2-3). See if that will work.

Mark - I'll take off the plastic washers. that will help some.

Big Ed - yea that makes sense. I guess my problem is that one of my friends stripped the first couple of threads on an old premier w/ LF bindings. I guess I'll just use the ones I have, if nobody has had any probs w/ them. It doesn't sound like LF makes a longer clamp...
