Can anyone tell me what the water temp is around Parker, or maybe what to expect in a couple weeks?
Thanks,
Jared

I go to needles around the third week of october every year and the water is always warm-wouldnt even consider a wet suit. Parker is down river from there and just as warm. Enjoy, its a great place.

Keep an eye on the weather. As long as lows don't drift too far below 70, the water will be great. Air temps below 65 for more than just a few nights and the water temp will not be far behind.
Heading to Needles tomorrow.. not even packing the spring suit!

Was there this weekend 95-98 air temp, I'd have to guess 80ish water. I was able to get in it, without whining and I hate anything below bath temp.

Jacqui, how was the water level?? any problems launching or excess sandbars?? Im going to Moabi this weekend for a week and heard the water was reeel low. Dont want to have to use a 4x4 to retreive my boat from the mud. thanks

It was great, I didn't notice any sandbars/rocks except down by blue river casino where everyone parks, gets off the boats and hangs out. But then I probably wouldn't have noticed much this weekend anyway. We were only on the water one day and spent at least 8 hours down by Blue River partying.

Not sure where Moabi is.

Thanks for the responses. Sounds like it's still a good time to go.

Paul,
I was at Moabi this past weekend. Water was low from Thursday thru Saturday. Woke up Sunday to find river level several feet higher than previous mornings, and several degrees cooler!
(Thurs./Fri. temps were 68-69 degrees, Sunday morning water was 64.)
Even with low water levels, we did not experience any hazards between Moabi and Needles.
South(?) side of river just above Topock bridge is very shallow...stay to Topock Marina side of the river. As always, low water levels in the afternoon make the Moabi inlet leading to the launch ramp very shallow, but the bottom is mostly mud and brush.
Have fun.

John, thanx for info. After checking water level report it showed it being way low, but apparently its coming back up.

My dad takes a H2O temp check everytime he's there. Last weekend it was 77 degrees. The air peaked at 103 degrees. We have a journal that we keep record of all temps everytime we're there, we're dorks... See everyone in two weeks.
