I have a supra 20ssv ,every time I accelerate out of the hole I get a lot of shudder in the steering if the rudder is not straight.once we are under way and the rudder straight I get no more shudder even when turning there is nothing .Is this normal and can it be fixed.Thanks.

I tried a search but could not locate the thread. Its been discussed a few times in the past and conclusion was that some vibration (shudder) is inherent in the rack and pinion steering systems. There was more in my Moomba than in my Centruion. I had the Moomba checked by dealer and he said everything was okay. Make sure all connections to the rudder and cable clamps are tight.

Yep. It just comes along with rack and pinion steering. All I can tell you is to make sure your rudder is straight when accelerating.
