I started wakeboarding a few summers ago, im just starting to do basic stuff. my parents have a 04 Glastron Sx 175 its a 3.0 135hp and i was looking into putting a tower on it. Is it even worth putting a tower on this boat? All i do is wakeboard and tube on it. I saw diywake on a thread and the Large Polished Universal Swoop Tower. Any other good towers that are under 1k? The main question is it even worth putting a tower on this boat? My dad says no but i say yes so i just want to do it anyways cuz ill be takin over payments. thanks

My buddy has a monster tower on his...it works well for an I/O. He also puts a 350LB ballast in the ski locker. If you are going to have that boat for a while, then it is worth putting a tower on. I have a Joystick tower on my I/O. $750

It is very solid, but no frills for sure... I've had it three seasons now, and like it just fine.

Louis,
We have a Glastron GX 185 with a WakeAir tower and it makes a difference in your jump height and of course makes your boat look pretty damn cool! (You decide which is more important. )

Unfortunately, WakeAir towers are not under $1000....

We just installed a Monster Tower on our 06 205. It looks great but unfortunatly the water temp is still 50 degrees! Will post after I have ridden it.
