is it possible to put wake vids onto those new video ipods? I just got one for x-mas and I'm not quite sure how it works but I'd like to get some wake vids on there for when I go to the gym, I can't really see ne other benefit for videos on the ipod. Has any one done it and if you did how? Cause I can't figure it out...

My buddy Kevin has 'The Book' on his iPod for when we go out to the lake. I know that it is possible to rip DVDs and upload them to the iPod, but I don't know the process.

There are a couple tools out there that will do it for you.

http://www.pqdvd.com/dvd-to-ipod-video-converter.html

Xilisoft has one at http://www.xilisoft.com/dvd-to-ipod-converter.html and Vidora at http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/
Apollo http://www.alltomp4.com/dvdtoipod.htm
Cucusoft http://www.avi-vcd.com/
I've used Videora and PQ and demo'd Cucusoft's. I use the PQ because it's very quick and easy. The only downside is that it doesn't have any batch function so I'd use the Videora for batch processing of mpg's you already have.

You can convert all your wakeboard movies to your Ipod by using quicktime for windows. Goto this link:

I use a program called handbrake. Real easy one step process. It rips and converts the dvd, all you have to do is load it to the ipod. It is also FREE! Just google handbrake converter and you could download it. itunes can only convert certain types of movies like .mov

I'm looking at getting an ipod video. My question to you is it worth it? Has anyone had any trouble, or if it's all loaded up is it extremly slow? Do the video's lag sometime?
