I'd have to say Arizona or Florida, just because you can board all year long, and usualy without a wet suit.

Idaho....... Miles and miles of crystal clear mountain lakes up here and where we go you can put your boat in right on the beach where you camp! Plus, the local law enforcement or "jet tools" rarely visit the upper lakes, however when they do it is few and far between? In fact, I had a funny experience this last weekend explaining to the sheriff how our custom built slider 100' off shore was a newly designed fish ladder that the Army Corps of Engineers was trying out and they wanted us to keep an eye on it to make sure nobody tampered with its position or anchoring system...... Wonder how he must of felt after inquiring about that? Or better yet, watching a member of our crew rip a 20+' slide across the top of this valuable asset to our fish ecology? To each his own........

you know I just met a kid that works at Wakesports now in OC and he said that the riding up there is really really good. He just moved here from there. I guess if there aren't a lot of people, and there are a lot of lakes, it would make for a pretty good ratio. Sounds like a sweet place to be if all you want to do is ride. Sounds like my kind of place. I bet the cost of living is really cheap too.

Cool Thane...... You'll have to tell him you hear good stories about ArrowRock Res...... If he rides, he'll definitely have some memories of all the butter we harvest up here..... I invite all of you to visit Idaho at least once with boat in tow. Cool people, great scenery and lakes that you can spend hours on without crossing another boats wake!

Brisbane Australia. Two cable parks within an hour. (well one is there, the other will be up in a month or so) River running through the middle of the town. Several dedicated lakes close by, plus a huge water reserve a few hours away. Can ride all year round in boardies. What more do you need ? :-) (Message edited by cseeber on July 09, 2003)

I'm with h2ojunky, Idaho is a pretty sweet place to ride. From where I live I can access 3 different lakes all within an hour or less. A two hour trip can get to even more places to ride and its not hard to ride where there is little or no people to compete with. Went out last night for 3 hours with a group of friends and the water was glass....what a ride!

Arkansas has a number of great lakes to wakeboard and the jetskis are few and far between.

(Idaho) If you stretch it out you can ride about 5-6 months. The water gets junky and not worth putting your boat in. But when it's good, it's good (Message edited by shanday on July 11, 2003)

So where should I be going on the Delta? I've been out that past several weeks and can't get away from all the other boaters...I've been launching from Orwood/Disco Bay..so i'm guessing since it's the closest to the Bay area...i'm also getting the most traffic? I guess I need to spend some more time seeking out the more remote areas I guess? As for Idaho. I have to second that above. LOTS of water in close proximity usually. Some very unique riding spots and not nearly as many people on the water. Man, I can't wait till I move back....I just wish the season would be longer. But hey..you get an extra hour of sunlight over Cali! gotta love that.......

If you could get a tournament boat out to Ouazazate, Moroco. That would be heaven. Most beautifull lake I've ever seen. No one on it (The locals are scared of the water.) That would be a dream come true. Other than that, I'd say Central florida. Thats the center of it all.

I'm in Mantweeeka, But I launch at Ladds in Stockton, then boat up to 14 mile slough and ride around there and Paradise point... There is a nice island just off the main channel there, where a lot of people hang.

I won't say it's the ideal place to live because of the short seasons, but Wisconsin and Minnasota have thousands of uncrowded lakes. They're clean too :c)

Kununurra, Australia. THe first lake here is 50kms, and along here you are always gaurenteed 2 find butter, then theres lake argyle that is huge 19 sydney harbours worth i think that always has butter 2. There would be 10 jet skiis if that here and the town i live at is 5 mins from the lake and is only 6000 ppl and of these abt 30 boats are on the river on the weekend.
