2003 Byerly 142 w/High Backs

I just bought the 2003 Byerly 142 with some High Back bindings. I tried it out yesterday and was very happy with both. Better yet, I thought they were priced nicely, $275 for the board, $175 for the bindings. It was between this board or the 2003 Motive 137, so i finally chose the Byerly. I would like to know what you all think of this combo. Since this is the second board I have ridden, i think it is great compared to the Backdraft I started on. So, what do you think ...

the 142 byerly is a soild board i love it. if the water is smoothe you have to try riding it with out the center fins it is a whole new feel. the board is heads above the motive great choice

I bought it at Scheels in Iowa City. The board was priced at $375, reduced to $275 (brand new, no blemishes), the bindings were priced at 275, reduced to 175. They had a pair of 3060's for 150. I tried both of them on and liked the High Backs a lot more.

i just got some high backs yesterday . they are very very comfy and soft, i really like the option 2 strap, helps a lot to keep the ankles in place
