I went to Pyramid on Sunday and encountered some rocks within the marina. They were about 10 to 15 feet out and left from the left dock of the launch ramp. My advice is stay on the right side of the launch ramp if you go anytime soon.

After going to Pyramid once about ten years ago, my advice would be to stay off Pyramid altogether.

I respectfully disagree. I think Pyramid is great. Granted, I'm from socal where we wont don't have a lot of lakes to choose from. But for down here, I think it's awesome. Here's why- It is easily accessed from the freeway, it has a good launch ramp, a nice beach you can park your boat and chill on, several coves that you can hang out in, somewhat of a natural wind block, and assuming you get there super early or during the week, good wakeboarding conditions. Now again, it doesn't compare to some of the big nice lakes up in central/northern CAL, but for boating in and around LA county, it's the bomb...
