Delta Sport Boats...Say it aint so!

Shiat, I just got the news last week on the way back from Melones. I did a search but, surprisingly, found no info. Delta Sport Boats is closing its doors. Damn the oil companies!!!

Now what do we do? San Ramon dropped Supra as well. It's not looking good. Please if you have any info from Skiers Choice or any other reputable place, do tell.

Jody, Thanks for all your help in the past. Good luck on the hunt. You're a top notch guy and shouldn't have an issue landing a great one. If you ever need a pull let me know.

Yup, i was there on Friday and talked with Jody and it's not good indeed! He stated he's trying to work with another dealer to take over the Skiers Choice dealership in the central valley region but that it's all speculation right now.

They are blowing out everything left for 50% or so off and i picked up a killer deal on a '07 CWB Transcend Platinum w/Zues binding package deal as well as a Flyhigh 750lb sac plus other stuff!

I wish Jody all the best as well and also told him i'd pull him anytime!

man thats terrible news. I had a feeling things were slow. Its sad but i think lots of dealerships are going to be going down real soon.

Jody is a awesome guy he's the reason I got into wakeboarding. very sad

Derby? Hey! riding tomorrow. See my PM. I am gonna call Jody today and offer my condolences...he is a rare gem in the sportboat industry. Hopefully he lands on his feet. Anyone with any sense would pick him up in a heartbeat.

Jody has worked for atleast one other dealer, and is a great guy who knows his shiz. He'll land somewhere.

A little bird just flew by my cube.

I think we are actually going to be in good shape as far as the service and new dealer is concerned.

Sure it stinks one had to go, but at least someone new gets a chance to give 'er a go.

...and it's about half as far to get there for me.

Jody is an awesome guy. I got my boat from him. I dont think there is a better guy out there. He has helped me and my family out many times. He will be sorely missed. Good Luck Jody. If i can help out anyway, let me know. Tony
