My ten year old daughter started to work on wake to wake jumps about seven weeks ago. She ended up putting that goal aside to work on an INT National pass when she was invited to ride in Zachary LA. On Saturday we were back on the home lake and she decided that she was comfortable riding a larger board and wanted to try and conquer that wake to wake jump. She tried and tried but ended up casing the wake many times. I asked her to really watch her older sister's body position and edging. When we got home we showed her pictures of her riding and also her sisters. At that point I saw a light bulb go on in her head. Sofia told me "I'm going to clear that wake on Sunday". On Sunday she went from clearing the wake after throwing the handle in the air to acually riding away from four of them in a row.

Sorry to be sooo long winded, but we (mom, dad & sis) are so proud of her for setting a goal and working to reach that goal.

Here are a few pics of Sofia's epic day!

Either she is really short or that wake is the biggest I've ever seen.

Nice to see a young girl focussed on goals, working on them for almost 2 months, and then nailing it. That attitude will take you places.

"Rad! One step closer to inverts!"

you mean tweaked out, grabbed backside 180's? Because everyone knows they are way more stylish than inverts!
