In my service manual it just says to pull up on rotor, remove and replace with new rotor.

With the new cap and rotor I bought from skidim, it mentions to use Loctite 271 on the key shaft when replacing the rotor (I guess to make sure it wont come out).

Anyone use loctitie or just remove and replace?

I never used loctite. I just used the provided gasket.

Never used loctite on a rotor either. If you do I wouldn't use 271 that's the red and super strong. I could maybe see using the blue if you feel it's necessary. The red usually needs to be heated to break it free.
