I am picking up a witness tonight and I was assuming i would get a 36. But thinking about it not sure if i should stay with the 36 or step up to the 40. I ride a shane LTD 136 on the cable buts its really wide, in fact I did the math and the Witness 140 is closer in surface area to the shane than the Witness 136. Plus the stance on the 36 is a little narrower than on my shane, the stance on the 40 is exactly the same and I like a wide stance...

I weigh 145lbs, what do you guys think?

Go big or go home! Ride big boards and if you don't like it you can give it to me! Haha

You'll like it man. For real, bigger pop, more solid landings. Hard to argue with that.

I've been riding 136 or 139 on all my boards. Recently went to a 142 PS4, love it. I agree with the above said, bigger board bigger pop softer landings!

Sounds like one sweet ride!! First two boards I owned were 140's, and I thought I'd try something shorter, so I rocked a 136 Premier for a while, and most recently I'm on a 143 Covin and I LOOOVE it. Big boards all the way.

I'm 145lbs too and I ride the Lyman 139. You'll get more pop and softer landings. As long as you can deal with a little more swing weight, you're fine.

I'm sure I'll be fine, it will be light compared to my Shane LTD, grind base sure is tough but its heavy!

I stepped up to the witness 140 and I'm glad I listened to everybody who said move up. I don't think I'll ever get a board under 138 for behind the boat. The cable is a different story though. Might stay around the 136-138. I don't know.

Glad I listened to everyone, massive pop, buttery landings, faster, LOVE it! I thought I would never get any bigger than a 38 for the boat but I will now never go BELOW a 38. So stoked
