Compare 08 to 09 Transcend

Looking for reviews from people who went from an 08 to an 09 Transcend. I know they added a quarter inch and longer spine. Just curious how much different the new board rides?

I love the 09 Transcend! It's a little looser and faster than the 08, It pops a little more straight up and lands softer. IMO CWB took all the great features about the 08 Transcend and enhanced them for the 09 model!

thanks scott! I am wondering if I should settle for an 08 Or kick down the extra dough for the 09. It sounds like the 09 is worth the money!

Kick down and get the 09. I have only ridden the board twice but by far my favorite board. I never rode a cwb before until Kevin Bird came out and rode with us a couple of weeks ago. He brought the new 09 Transcend set up. He let me try it out and I am waiting for my new board and bindings to be delivered this week. The 09 is well worth the money. I ordered the board last week and couldnt get it til this week because boardersmall was sold out of them.

Ha, ha, ha... Johnny, I guess we have a reputation for rockin' the Transcends. I actually haven't ridden the '09 yet, but I fricken' loved the '08. I'm riding the Absolute right now, just to do something different for this year. I may end up going back to the Transcend, though. I know Jarrod and Allen are both loving theirs.

By the way.... Scotty's (Mr. 313) a CIE guy, too. He just isn't rocking the screen name.

Ha , Evan. He's only allowed to change it if he gets on here and chats more often!

I can def. see the difference in Scott's riding on the 09. (He still killed it on the 08) but everything is even bigger and it seems like he has even more hang time in the air to grab and poke than before. He says it lands nice and soft too.

I wish they made a smaller one for us girls :-)

i'm a fan of the transcend...i'm on the '08 for now till my watson gets here...i'm gonna steal joels '09 for a ride next time we're out...
