Walt thanks for posting. I think those pictures are awesome. The lighting isn't great, but you can't control that!

NO MORE DRYSUITS! The water temp is 56 at the Delta. Let's hope the temps continue to climb. I was very comfortable in a spring suit with a long sleve over the top.

Matt fricken KILLED it! First time I ever saw someone stomp a Vulcan live! SICK SICK!! Nice riding Matt!

BTW.. Picture 8 solves my spinning dilemma. I'm rushing the handle pass- need to slow it down. Thanks Walt!

Kevin & Becky: I think I met you at the WakeSurf Jam. I was really tanked and fell off your boat. It was Arun's first ride post knee rehab. Right?

Hey J-Rod! Yep that was us...I don't think anyone was feeling any pain that night...And not sure if you were the only one that fell off the boat! 13 of us that night + Cookie (great Ballast group, good time). It was Quite the show in the rear view. All you guys were bust'n big that night!

YOU ARE MY HERO!!!Crazy mofo LOL
Old     (jarrod)      Join Date: May 2003       02-28-2005, 7:55 AM Reply
Well not really trunkin it. I have a spring suit, and a long sleeve top over it. Legs were the only thing exposed. It wasn't bad at all. What kind of water temps are you seeing down south?
Old     (antbug)      Join Date: Jul 2004       02-28-2005, 8:32 AM Reply
Damn J-rod you are a crazy mofo. Yesterday we rode at Perris and the water temp was 54.
Without my drysuit I would have not gone in.

Great pics Walt as always.

hey I just looked and is that Shawn riding a LF? What happened to the Blade?
Old     (jarrod)      Join Date: May 2003       02-28-2005, 8:38 AM Reply
Yep, Shawn is riding the Substance. Walt still rides the Blade.

Try a spring suit with long sleeves. You'll be more comfortable than you think.

You guys coming to the bay area this weekend?

Thanks for posting the pics Walt! Thanks for a great pull J-Rod. It felt great to be back out on the water. I am still quite sore this morning. I was hurting pretty bad yesterday.

I'm jealous that you guys can even ride at all this time of year. I was kneeboarding behind a 4wheeler out on my lake on the weekend....

Squid- Yup, this is the same Matt VdA who rode the LF Best back in the day.
Old    walt            02-28-2005, 3:22 PM Reply
Ant, Shawn has a different set up every other time I ride with him. I was giving him a hard time about it on the way to the Delta.

Matt, I was really disappointed that I didn't get some better pics for you but I'll try and do better next time.

And thanks for the complements from the rest of you !

Walt, Those pics were great. I like how you caught me throwing the handle. I never realized I did that on regular spins. I thought I only did that on one particular trick.

Squid, It usually takes an old schooler to know one. Who are you?

Matt haha, Cool found someone from the old days. I and I thought I was the only one still riding from that time frame. Sometimes people think I am full of it when I tell them that we learned bs rolls and railys with no tower or weight. OUCH I still feel the falls.
