I don't ski, just skate & ride but at 35-36 it has a great slalom wake. Now the task of dialing in the wake. I think with 1.5-2k of bags and some lead in the ski locker it will have a decent rampy wake. What stood out to me about this boat is the beam seems much wider & the deep open bow vs other ski boats of that era.

Congrats. If I had that boat I'd do the following:
A. Take off the AS decal and change it or black out the rest of the hull
B. Tint 20%
C. Black tower (but has to be the right one?)
D. Line X the platform
F. Add weight
Photoshop anyone?

Why Line X the platform? I am assuming it has a teak platform, why ruin it. With some elbow grease, the platform can be restored, once you Line X it, the platform is ruined.

True. My second boat had teak and it was a pain to keep looking perfect. I had it Line X'd and never looked back. Nothing can hurt the platform and it always looked good. No more nicks (from boards), sanding, etc. to deal with. If I had to do it over again I would do it. The teak looks nice but if your talking about a black and white boat then Line X would be a consideration.

I'd leave the decals in place. I think it looks great as is. The right black tower will make it look perfect. Great Boat!

I'd leave the decals. they are pretty small anyway and just adds a little detail to the boat. As for the platform definately leave it teak. IMO nothing beats a well oiled teak platform.
