We are begining to put together all the pieces to have 4 competitions next year in Fresno. We would like to see if we can get the So Cal boys to meet the Nor Cal boys and throw down right here in our home town of Clovis(fresno). Any thoughts on willingness to ride on the private wake board lake here at the Central Cali Throw Down

I am down! It would be sick to get Nor cal and So cal together for some comps.

That would be a great comp. I think all the good riders will show up(if they are not injured).

Where do we draw the line between North and South? Do we do divisions? Would love to help make it happen.

I am so glad to see that we could get a good comp going. Looking for input as far sanctioning does it matter to anyone if it is WWA or WWC sanctioned? It will be one or the other. Also talking about doing 3 falls and a total of 2 complete passes for the class's above intermediate so that that the riders can get warm on the first pass up and back and really throw the big stuff on the second trip up and back. In talking with some of the companies interested in helping sponsor the events we have talked about the idea of have a larger money purse for the open class something like $300, $200, $100. Would that be appealing enough to open riders to make them take the journey? We sure hope we can do half as good as the other 3 comps we go to in Ca. Great job to Canyon Lake, Robyn you are doing a great job. Castaic is a great venue and competition. The Nor Cal WWA at Villa Lagos is a great comp and venue as well, so if we can live up to these standards we should do just fine.

Either sanctioning/insurance org would be O.K. with me, would be nice to have it WWA, save everyone a few $ when they hit other WWA events. It would also qualify anyone who rides the event for WWA Nationals. I like your format plan, need to make sure that all bases are covered, and everyone is in tune, to keep it manageble (timewise).

Really liking this.
