Hey do you guys think that putting a tower on my 18 foot outboard will benefit my riding? Im looking at them now.

I'd go with a universal ext. pylon instead. I don't know about your boat but we had an outboard up until last year and the wake was pretty much nonexistent, enough to not put very much money into it.

Any raised tow point will however probably benefit your riding.

I had a pylon on my old bass boat and it worked pretty good

I used to have a 1996 18' Sea Ray bow rider with a 135hp outboard. I put a monster tower on it and a 500lb fat sac in the ski locker and it worked great.Upload

I have a 18' 2000 sea ray that I put a monster tower on and it made a huge difference or it could of been the tower and then adding 750lb. bag in the back and a 560 lb. bag up front with 4 or 5 people in the boat. I really like our monster tower.

Get a tripod at the very least. Will raise the rope over the engine, makes life easier and pulls you up a bit. Maybe there's a taller one these days. got live wells? <- ballast
