Hmmm, is this a real question or just one to spur another boat war?

I think in general, most people will agree that your description fits a SAN to the letter.

dont get moomba if you dont want a wide wake, personally if you beginner wakeboarder i recommend a wide wake, so you have to "work" to clear it, then when your on your buddies short wake you go way out in flats, and dont have to try half as hard.

my buddies hate my wake because its too wide to clear, they have problems at 55ft, i ride my boat at 70ft and clear just fine, i ride 75 behind there boats when they ride 60ft.

the mobius have a wide wake, but a nice rampy wake.

the malibu VLX and the MC X-10 have pretty nice wakes and arnt wide at all. i have heard good things about air nautiques, i want to get behind one real bad though to find out for myself.

Wow, I've always though that Moombas have an average width wake, not wide, not narrow. If people are having trouble at 55, there are problems. What speed are you running at? I ride behind Moombas all the time at 70' 23 mph and love it.

Good grief.

If the wake's too wide at 55ft, you must be doing about 12 mph.

Man I hate these "which boats has the best wake" threads. SOMEBODY MAKE THEM STOP!

nautiques have steep wakes, malibus have more rampy wakes with mellow transitions, x-stars have 2 mt. everests behind it in the water form.
