I had a 87 ski centurion with a 351, that got 500 hours, but great compresion. I have 1000lb or balast 250 bags on the sides and a 500 in the back. When I have water in the bilge, and the bags filled, my boat can barly get me up to wakeboarding speed. i have the stock three blade prop, and i am wondering how much diffrence a new lower pitch 4 bland or new three blade will make. Or am i just demanding two much from my boat? Any anyone have a comment on how much thoese direct drive transmitions can take??

What prop are you running now. I can probably improve your performance with a new Acme for $310. I need to know what you are running and what high-speed uses you have.
