Stereo install - Older ski boats

Does anybody have any good ideas for speaker locations inside the boat on older ski boats? My 84 MasterCraft doesnt have any factory speaker locations, and I would like some good suggestions where or how to mount them. Some pictures of your installations would be cool too. Thanks!

i have a 92 ski supreme and had the same problem. I bought a 10' band pass box from best buy about $80. Sounds great. I just placed it under the drivers side. Underneath the instument panel, where you put your feet

A Rotozip is an older boats best friend!

I had the same issues with my '96 Ski Nautique. The Rotozip cuts through fiberglass like a hot knife through butter. You can mount speakers anywhere you want to.

If yours is a closed bow a good 10" sub will sound great up in the bow.

actually a hot knife is right i almost caught my boat on fire with that damn rotozip it was cutting through carpet, fiberglass, and a sheet of plywood and the carpet started to catch on fire lucky i put it out because my dad the fireman wouldnt have liked coming home to his boat burned to the ground.

Tripp,I will post pics of my 90 Sanger later but here's what I got.
12" Sub in box way up in the bow.
2 amps also way up in the bow.
6X9's behind the drivers seat,and in front of the pass seat,cut into the interior.
Coming next week;2 6x9's in boxes in the side ski locker in back,to the right/left of the back seat.
Also have tower speakers(2).
