In a previous post I had it looked like I was going to get either a Moomba xlv or Sanger 237 (the 237 was new but in the sun for 2 summers, interior had suffered). Well, I didnt' think I could find an Epic in my $45k-$50k price range. I got a good tip (thank you, you know who you are) that I could get an Epic well in my price range and only about 60 miles from me. The interior could use a little more plushness to it but it's totally functional. Wakeboard wake looks incredible. The surf wake has plenty of potential. Sorry, Moomba and Sanger...I found my boat. Oh, and with the great deal, I'm going to wrap the hull with graphics with the money I saved. By the way, the lake was crowded and it's a long, narrow lake so rollers were everywhere. The Epic handled them at cruising speed and even at speeds that you would return to pick up a rider.

Those Epics are hard to beat. Love my Sanger, but congrats to you on the new boat!

The wake at wakeboard speeds looked sick and it was just two of us in the boat with half full tanks and 1/4 tank of fuel. Can't imagine what it could look like with full ballast and about 6-8 people.

Hey, if anyone wants to join the Epic family, I have to sell mine. It's a 2009 in Minnesota, 45 hours, asking $47k. 952-356-6867

Congrats on your Epic. They are awesome!
