We just got back from Oroville on the weekend.

The Floating campsite was awesome and we had a blast.

The wakeboarding was not so good. There is still so much debris on the water (and some very large size, damage capeable logs) that we decided to do only a small set close to the campsite.

Just thought I would give everyone a heads up Watch your boat and your props!

Thats not unusual for as high as the water is. Where was your floating campsite? If you were in the North fork then you where in the wrong place

Wow. Couldn't agree with you more. I just got back from Oroville this morning and I wasted a prop myself. Good thing I had a backup. I have never seen debris that bad. I was RV camping at Bidwell. I asked the camp host about it and he said that it was the worst he has seen in 30 years. They really need to drop the lake a bit. We still got in some decent board and surf sets. I will post pics as soon as my camera recharges. Didn't see you Tom. I will look for you next time.

Marc, I think I saw you in the South Fork on Sunday mid-day if my memory serves me right. I remember seeing a dark Centurion with the new tower.

that was me. I just looked at your profile and see that you have a red X1. You passed right by me. Real close to the bridge right? I remember telling my brother in law that was a new mastercraft. Crazy flipping debris huh? Oh well, it can only get better right? Stop by and say hi next time. Weren't you at the Bidwell marina at around 7pm last night also?

Hey Marc,

I did see your boat out there! I was riding with Attila (Red MC X1). Start checking out the pirate flags, a good chance that they are Wake Worlders!

Stop by and say Hi next time. Nice boat by the way.

Check out Lime Saddle on the other side of the lake. There is still a bunch of crap in the water but it's not as bad as the Bidwell side. I talked with the people at the marina and they said they are not letting water out until after the 4th of July.

IMO, if they do not let a lot of water out then you are taking a big risk with your prop or your boat at Oroville. Safe boating on the 4th!
