I strongly suggest you buy the Loud Liquid set up. I work at Loud Liquid, and the there is only one reason i work there. It is because it is the best. They are loud and very clear. I use pioneer speakers in mine but i believe it would be a better idea to go with the kicker speakers that loud liquid products come with. I use the whiplash box and there is no better way to go!
The deafcon's are def. a great set up, but it's all about loud liquid.

Neither Pioneer or Kicker are really very good speakers. They are okay, but not good when compared with quality speakers.

Hopefully you can listen to both before you make a decision. I'm sure you'll be able to hear both just fine with the right amp. As for which amp to use, why don't you ask them what they recommend.
