Whats up gang-

Sorry for such short notice but I'm putting together a crew to go to Lake Pleasant this coming Wednesday. We will have 120 miles of shoreline to ourselves.

Upper 70's and clear skies planned for weather. That, combined with 4000lbs of ballast is going to make for a great day.

Email me if you'd like to meet.

I can't make it, but it sounds like fun!! I'm curious what type of boat you're going to weight down with that much ballast.

Thanks.

Donnie,

What boat did you decide on?

Not 100% sure yet. I'm going to try to get out and demo two different Malibu VLX's next week -- one with the wakesetter hull and one with the diamond hull. The diamond hull will be a better crossover boat, but I'm not sure how well it will surf.

Thanks for asking!

Ben, what are you doing different for ballast? How are you achieving 4000lbs? I need to get my X2 dialed in better then last year. I am about ready to hit the water.

Hi Darryl- full factory ballast, two 750 lb plumbed in ballast in rear locker, two 440's with uber pump, and 600 lbs of pop prodcut. We also had like 7 people. It was a bit too much weight actually... LOL

Thanks Ben, our friend down at Mastercraft AZ filled me in on the plumbed in ballast you did. I think I am going to go that route with some pop products, so I am not filling up a ton of bags with the uber pump.
