I had 10 guys and my dog in my VLX last night. With the ballast full the wake was huge. It was the first time I noticed that the engine had to work, or that there may be a need for one of the bigger engines if you carried all that weight. Must have had 3k extra pounds in the boat. Put it this way, the bottom of the tattoo graphics on the side of my hull were in the water. We had 7 people in the wrap around seating, 2 in the bow, and a driver. It drove terrible with all that weight, 2k is about right (people and ballast), at least for performace wise. I sucked down over 1/2 a tank of gas in 2.5 hours also, which is 2x my normal rate. It was fun landlock surfing the waist high wake though!!!!

Cool! It gets fun when you load them down! This picture was taken on Sun at an INT event. The boat had all of the ballast drained... so their was only lead and 4 people. When they pulled the Outlaws and Expert classes they filled the ballast and had 10 people on board! The water line was up to and covering the bottom of "MALIBU" and the front bow eye hook was in the water. I should of snapped a picture of that...

Yeah the Hammerhead and the 13.5 x 16 prop is nice!

Man o man, WakeNup. You had me scared with that headline of yours. Thank god I'm this young, or I'd have a heart attack. One fine inboard on the bottom of the lake is one too much.

I can't get the picture of that totally loaded Supra out of my mind. Can't remember the owners name (sorry), but I think it was the Atlanta Supra-dealer. That was crazy.

3K for a VLX, 2k for hulls which are easier to sink.
