Does anyone know if a trimtab down on the opposite side of the boat will help with the wakesurf wake/wave?

It seems to me that it should and such a device would be easier than moving LEAD/WATER for wave sizing and tuning.

Some centurion boats have this, correct?

Would this be a nutty thing to add to a 2000 BU?

It seems logical, I thought of doing this with my boat, although I think it is less of a gamble with an 86 BU vs. your 2000 BU. I had initially researched them for wake shaping purposes for riding, but the consensus I got was that they would help more with slalom wake when in the down position than with wakeboarding in the up position. It seems as though it would have an impact on steering the boat (but then again so does having it weighted so unevenly).
