Went to Shasta on these dates and had a lot of fun(considering the post about the deputies on the lake). Stayed at Holiday Harbor and camped out. What a shame how low the water is. They have already closed down the Mcloud arm. The water level is dropping 8 inches a day. Didn't ride that much but the last two days were by far the best expirience ever. Went down to the boardshaop on the dock and found out Chris Dykmans was instructing. I think his section in the Delta Sessions was sick. The person working said they might need a third and since we had 8 people in my boat asked us if we wanted to meet them out there and have some of our group ride in thier boat. That evening we rode and got to watch Chris Dykmans and another rider who was just killing it named Blake(also instructing out there) ride doubles and play WAKE. Chris and Blake ripped and were thanking us for meeting them out there so they could ride doubles. The next day was even better. Blake was going to be able to ride and asked if he could come ride with us in the afternoon. And if he came he would give everyone a lesson as long as he could get a nice long pull. I told him hell ya. We had four girls who do not really know how to wakeboard in fact two of the girls got up for the first time at the beginning of the trip. Blake came out and had every girl on the boat riding switch doing surface 180's and going back and forth across the wake and each girl only went out once. Each one of those girls want to now wakeboard everyday. Which is nice since one of those girls is my fiance. Then Blake got out and rode in some of the crappiest water and just killed it. He was amazing to watch. Blake, just wanted to say thank you and say thanks to the shatsa wakeboard school for having such a cool and down to earth group of people working thier.
