Good Camera with good quality for a good price

Looking for some advice for a camera with good quality for a descent price. I want something that is going to take high quality vid and that I can pull some good stills out of. any suggestions?

3ccd (only 1/6")... but for the price it's not bad.

There's a thread running above with all good choices. Personally I don't think you can get good stills out of any video cam. You've got around 1 megapixel of resolution and all the worse traits of a slow point and shoot. A lot of the prosumer camcorders don't even have that feature, and those that do are about 1 step above taking stills with your cell phone!
