so, i was just cleaning up the boat and getting it ready for the weekend and decided to go for a quick run around the lake.

Problem - the boat won't come off the lift. the front cradle is going all the way down and the back cradle went down some but when I cranked it all the way down there is slack in the back cable but it's tight in the front.

we had a big storm and the water rose here last Friday and lifted the boat off the lift but I had it tied off and it settled back down fine.

Any ideas? Suggestions? It's a Shore STation manual crank 6k lift. My local guy is swamped due to all the repairs so I have a feeling he won't get to it at all.
