:-) I was admiring the squared off noses on Billy of Austin Surf Co's "Blunt", and the DJ James pro model from Stretch so I thought I'd try one too! :-) Actually not, I screwed up the nose and the ony way I could save the board was to hack off the forward three inches. Different look at least. :-)

i think i will start making the round nose , so no one will poke an eye out, next batch will start.

dtw, thanks! I also love all the "good" inside details about a product or company, some of the stuff is so interesting.

Mark, certainly is a good idea to reduce the potential for injury on your boards. Post up what the new shape ooks like.

i am thinking on a 4.8 fish with twins and wide point being at 2' from tail with thin front section with round nose, front rocker 2.5" starting 16" back from nose and rear rocker .5" starting 16" up from back. 1" thick 1.5 foam with 4oz.x3 sglass on deck and 4oz.x2 on bottom. VG dry with hot coat and final sand
