Over the weekend I was stopped at Shasta for wakesurfing. The officer was totally cool, but told us a rider must keep a safe distance from the back of the boat. I asked what the safe distance was. He said there is no official safe distance but only that our rider was too close.

Has anyone else had this problem at Shasta?

I surf there all the time and have never been hassled (Knock on wood).

FYI, we will be up there the weekend of the 15th.
