Can anyone offer some advice regarding houseboat/camping coves near dangling rope marina.

I've searched the boards and found the recent thread about water levels (especially the hazards to the south of dangling rope). Way back I found some threads talking about the san juan and escalante river arms. That is too far for us.

We have the houseboat for 5 days, and don't plan go past dangling rope. I'd prefer to get to the marina via the wakeboard boats in less than 30 minutes.

I'm considering face canyon, rock creek, and howland canyon.

any help?

Thanks
