New speakers for my Super Sport

I will be re-doing the interior speakers in my 1997 super sport, I will need marine grade speakers. What are your opinions on the best marine grade speakers out there. *nudge**nudge**white chocolate*

All the marine grade speakers I have heard sound like poop. Why are you set on marine grade?

Because my boat will be sitting in the water for about two months straight up in Wisconsin. So I need some extremly water-resistent speakers, or some speakers with a similar construction.

MB Quart makes some of the best speakers for boat use Ive ever heard. SOme friends of ours have $20,000 audio video systems in their 50+ft sea rays that are centered around MB Quart speakers. Look for the QM160.something model, they sound awesome when mated with subs and equalized.

Just bought jl xr650cxi's for my SAN. Haven't installed them yet but have talked to a few people that have them and I know I won't be disappointed. Check ebay.

Sxplodes -- XS-V1630A's.. too bad I can't get my piece of junk Kicker amp to run my sub worth a damn. The Sony's kick hard, tho.

Added Alpines SPS-170A to my boat this year. They got soaked already and my boat is in the water now until Oct. So far so good, and they rock compared to my Clarions. $130.00 for 4 shipped w/ insurance on ebay. Go w/ a sub and amp em for sure..
