This is probably a stupid question, but I like to be well informed when it comes to expensive toys.

I just got my new Sanger V215 to 20 hours and am ready to start using the ballasts. My question is: When I flip the switch to fill, do the switches automatically turn off when they are full? Or do I have stop the pumps manually?
Thanks, for any help,
HD

you have to stop them manually. Same when draining.

Sometimes I see people that never turn them off, they just let them overflow until they want to empty them. Does this do any damage or shorten the lifespan?

we have a 215 as well and the front sac pumps some out the side as soon as we turn it on even when its empty. just open the cover and look at it you'll know when its full, the back you'll just see start to pump out the side when their done.
