Mine is also in the drivers footwell--03 launch ssv--I pulled out the kickplate and a sub, box, and amp fit perfectly

Adam - I have an 05 22 ssv, I was thinking of doing the exact same thing. Do you have any more pics of what you've done there? What size & model are those subs? What kind of air space/firing depth is needed? Cheers, Jeff

Jeff, I may have one more pic somewhere, but I'll have to look on another computer. I have since sold the boat. those are w-3's. If I were to do it agin I would use kicker L-5's. I had to do alot of modification not seen in the picture ( to the seat base) in order for those subs to fit.

It's called a Hi-Tech box and it's made by JMC the whole thing is plastic and it has an Alpine Type-R in it and it sounds great . . . I haven't taken any of it in the boat yet but I'll post em as soon as I do

It sounded great until I smoked the amp on a very hot day. That thing would always get really hot since I was running it to the max. I now have everything running off of 3 amps.

Darrin, i looked and i don't have any and the boat is in the shop! Steve, i think the bass is good as long and you get the sound to fresh air
