Here are a few pics of our new slider.
It is a one sided slider that is 20' long and can be lifted into a ramp that goes 8.5' high.
Hopefully the pics work, I have never posted any before.
This is the slider in the down position. (me riding)

I've got more pics on the way. We have lots of great video if I could figure out how to post that.
The entire slider is built out of PVC so the only thing that will ever rot is the side curtains.
The rails are bolted to 2x10's. We hinged the top rails to the pvc frame so that it can be lifted on one end.
It works awsome and YES pvc is strong enough. My wife is a mechanical engineer and her calculations say that it is safe.
We covered the sides with indoor/outdoor carpet. Looks nice and protects boards and skin.
