Custom Hard Tanks for 2001

Has anyone ever had custom hard tanks made for the interior of their nautique. I was thinking about making hard tanks to mount between the motor box and the sidewall. I also have a turn around seat so it leans against the engine box. I was planning on buying a plastic welding kit and some sheets of plastic to custom fit some tanks.

I was thinking all the way up the side of the motor box across the floor and follow the contour of the interior wall up to the ledges on the side. Then getting some custom pads made for the tops so they are padded seats to.

Anyone have experience plastic welding or recommend some kits.

I dont like how the fat sacs press up against the motor box and smash it into the engine. That and when they are full they don't take up any hieght so if i just made them higher i could make them shorter??

luke, i have a buddy who took the hardtanks out of his Mastercraft x-2. don't know if they would fit but might be worth a shot. If you're interested i'll send you the diminsions. They are 250lbs.
