Does MC warranty transfer into Canada?

Hello everyone ( my first post! )

I am planning on buying a used 07 x-star out of the States. Will the balance of the warranty transfer into Canada?

I have an email into MC as we speak but they have not yet replied. The current plan is to leave tommorrow to go get the boat. This warranty query came up at the last minute. I assumed the warranty would transfer until someone at work questioned me on it today.

I believe you just have to pay $500 to transfer the Warranty...

Is it dealer specific or just a general transfer fee?

It is usually a general transfer fee and for 07 it is 450$. You can find the warranty transfer in the back pages of the owners manual. Make sure you enclose payment and copy of receipt within 14 days of sale for warranty to work.
