The glassy, winter picture of the old river bridge was taken from my Malibu.

I can tell it's important to you, but I'm pretty sure Kevin's riding shots were from my X2, only because I remember the two of your argueing over politics while I was driving.

That was also the only time I have ever been on the boat with you and Kevin at the same time.

I don't mean to offend anyone. I know that the Delta is probably in the top 5 spots to ride in North America but from a photographers standpoint, the back drop all looks the same to me. Parked cars a beat up barn or the same train bridge in every shot.

I think the reason I've never shot there is also attributed to all the great photographers in the Nor Cal area. West Coast Walt, Arun, Buffalo etc. I mean, I wouldn't just come to your house uninvited and start digging in your fridge....

From a riders perspective I think the Delta is right up there with Lake Powell. A "Must Ride" if you call yourself a wakeboarder!

If Kevin says he never been on my boat then I would say it's a safe bet that that is your wake in the pic.I'm going crazy here and I am obviously overloaded.For some reason I remember him coming on my boat and Walt was the person to introduce us.When we were on your boat,I already knew Kevin.

Rich, yeah that was the same day I was shooting Jimmy and Derek hitting double ups. The day before we shot with Daniel Doud and Aubrey over in front of the Diablo ski club. Chris should've come out.

You were also out on your dock at the GGWSC club the windy afternoon we were shooting with Josh. Aubrey was driving some crazy tight Delta double ups and I was shooting from Mark Castelanelli's SAN. That shot you posted is from the same shoot -- you can see me in the corner sitting on the back of Mark's boat.

I can't wait for summer to roll around so I can make my way back to the Delta a couple times.

I can't wait till the summer rolls around (even spring).

As far as what Roddyrod said about wanting to ride anywhere else..... There are places that I've ridden that were beautiful and with nice flat, warm water, but there isn't anywhere I'd rather call home. I'd say I've had more great days on the delta than anywhere else. You get used to the delta's personality and learn to love it.

Quick question for you delta folk. What is it about that barn with roofing issues in so many of the photos? Is the water especially smooth there or is that just a common meeting point or are you all from Discovery Bay?

I agree with Matt. There are actually a lot of cool places to shoot. A lot of the same areas get shot frequently because of proximity to Disco Bay, they usually have good water in those spots and the light is correct at the time people are shooting.

Pink short = Shawna Hoffman.

The last few photos I posted are of her older sister Raequel. They both rip and compete.These girls are up and coming so you will likely see a lot more of both of them.

Look for them in the Chick Flick video too.
