I have a 79 ski nautique that i am replacing the carpet in. It has a small soft spot in the floor behind the engine compartment, when i cut out the floor the stringers look fine. Is there anything specific i should check before i put it back together. The rest of the floor seems solid. My other question is i want to remove the ski bunks on the side for a cleaner look and more space, but i wanted to check to make sure they weren't stuctural before i did so. Thanks Ross
