Hey guys, they offer me a 2000 CC Super Air 210 does someone have any suggestions what to check closely? I mean, we know boating in general but what are the main points or maybe the problems that could come up on this boats? Thanks in advance. Andy

those gauges went bad easily.... the hours on the meter might not be accurate if the gauges were replaced. Make sure you also put a perko switch on that thing if it doens't have one already as those gauges drain power even when the boat is off.

Andy, there are a couple of problem areas on these boat from 2000 to 2001. Look closely at the ignition and accessory keypads as some went bad. Also the LCD gauges were prone to going bad requiring either new $200/each gauges or a retro fitting kit which most people go with.

Some other big things to check. Engine Compression, steering cable, cd player, hatch latches for the back compartments...

I have an entire check list if you'd like.

if the guages are bad (which they probably are) you can get an analog set from CC for cheap as a sort of recall.

I am currently learning this one the hard way. Check the tracking fins. I bought a boat this year and one of the tracking fins was loose and it had caused some fiberglass damage, which I am estimating will cost me more than 500 bucks to fix.
