one of the things that drives me nuts is that from 04 to 05 Mastercraft moved the bimini mounts to the tower so that the cover can be installed without having to lower the bimini. The tower follows the same lines as the windshield and it looks like it'd be easy enough to take the mounts off the windshield and move them out to the tower. Has anyone stretched out their bimini and moved the mounts out? While I'm at it, does anyone know what size the bilge dumps are?

I have not done it, but have heard of it being done. My only concern would be the increased possibility of it catching on the board rack trigger handles...since my windshield mounted one already does it.

The only thing I heard was "we just bent them out" but I don't think I'd go on just that.

What will you do with the holes in the windshield frame?

I'm not sure about the bilge dumps, but I'd guess around 1/2" - 5/8"???

I believe that I'd fill the holes in with silicone and deal with the aesthetics. It'd be worth it to me. My boat stays in the water and is covered all the time.

On my 05, I think my bilge/ballast vent holes are 3/4"

Confirmed. Just measured an '04 fitting that I had pulled of when redoing my setup.

Mating hose ID is 3/4"
Looks like you'd need ~1" hole thru the hull.
"Mushroom" is ~1-7/8" OD with a 3/4" ID.

Sweet. I'm looking at replacing them with these.
