I have been using Kazaa for a while now and I am having the hardest time finding songs that actually work after I download them. Is there any way you can tell if the songs are good or not? I will download a song that's supposed to be like 4 minutes long and then when I go to play it, the length is like 8 minutes long and I can't hear anything. Is it just because a lot of people are putting corrupted files out there now or am I missing something? Also, does anyone have any better places to download songs from?

Downloading songs is stealing. You are the devil!

You just have to download alot of them then sort through em.

Kazaa has been total trash for the past 6 months. Corrupt files, viruses and just plain crap all over the place. I gave up on the site and now use Limewire. Has been working great for me so far for those few songs I sample

I ended up trying soulseek last night and it seemed to work a lot better. Plus, you can download full albums at a time unlike Kazaa.

when you dload the full albums, are you able to move by track or does it move through the whole thing?

When you download an album, it seperates the songs in to different files just like if you downloaded each song individually. That way you can burn them to a cd and move track by track.

I use limewire after having the same problem as you. Works great a little different program setup but i like it better. Much faster than kazaa.

Nobody here mentioned Winmx? Try it. You can download the same file from numerous people at the same time, it kicks butt. Can get movies and software with it too. http://www.winmx.com
