So I just can't make up my mind which one to keep. I love the 138 because of it's easy spin ability and how quick it feels. The landings in the flats are killer on the 138 however. I am about 5'10" and 195 pounds (athletic build) and the slap down on landings is tough. The 142 lands a ton softer but definately feels bigger and seems a bit harder to release from the water. It's basically just thinking about turning switch with the 138 and actually making the move with a little bit of effort on the 142. What are everyones thoughts. The watson whether it's a 138 or 142 is a killer board expecially combined with the SANTE wake.

I figured someone had gone through the same debate. Smaller is always nice for spins and stuff like that but their is no question the extra 4 CM makes a difference off the wake and in landings as it's slightly fatter as well.

I think you should go with what feels right and that would be the 142.

I just tryied the watson 138 and i like it as hell. I'm going to buy one. I ride a LF balance 139 now and i would never go up to a 142. But we probably don't have the same size. But i just dont't feel smooth riding a 142

is it that a bigger board just does not feel as smooth or is it that it's the added length that makes it ride different. I just can't wrap my mind around 4 cm making that big a difference.

Try ridding both boards at 3-4 mph slower and you'll feel a huge difference.

I'll buy the 142 if you want to sell it.
